And decent drivers to say the least. Bracing is cheap too . . .

That's always been the Sonus Faber way: expensive drivers, excellently styled but poorly designed cabinets, and inept crossover design.

But onto the thread topic, one build that I've long thought was a standard-setter is Markus's M.'s: white-painted Gedlee Nathans perched atop repurposed Bose 901 faux-Saarinen tulip stands.

Far as I know, they design that into the system. So it's intentional.

Kinda like leaving a tunnel behind a mid so it's sorta kinda open back-ish. As long as the response of the panel vibrations is properly accounted for in the design, and it sounds good...

I have been thinking about the best way to build them for days.... It's enough to hurt your brain!!! I will definitely brace it well.

He may have been refering to the outside of the cabinets. They are probably one of the best looking speakers I've ever seen, but I can't even begin to imagine the unwanted reflections caused by all those oddly placed curves, ripples, chamfers, and fins.
