Re: CBT36 Line Array has arrived!
anyone spending $2000 on a pair of speakers minus the amps, crossover, and whatnot shouldn't be averse to measuring if they wish to use their own crossover. I would also go miniDSP, probably.

And yes, I use and have a miniDSP, albeit currently only on subs (not mains, though that's certainly an option in the future). I've also seen enough measurements of it to know that it's perfectly fine.
Note that John K uses it fairly extensively as well. As does Bill Waslo.

You think I could run these on a Lepai T-amp?

Re: CBT36 Line Array has arrived!
If any speaker was ever worth $2000... this is it.
If it was a commercial offering I wouldn't be surprised to see it go for $20-$40K. Seriously.
If I could buy it over here I'd start saving my pennies TODAY and get it on December or so. Those are my dream speakers!

If you haven't reviewed the assembly instructions of the CBT yet, do so and most questions will be addressed. Marshall and Don did a great job in preparation of the document. It is an excellent treatment of the details and some insight to how the array works.
Specific setup details are included for the DCX2496.
