OT: Life changes.... for the better!
Before I get too far into this, the InDIYana event will still go off without a hitch, so worry you not if you are attending. :D However, I may be unreachable for a short period of time close to the event, so please be patient...
Some of you recall I was out of work in 2010, and settled for a job that I found, and have been there since. I've never stopped looking for something better, and have applied to likely 10 positions since I took that job almost 2 years ago. I've been fretting about dough since then, and have been making it by working OT, prayer, and such.
The job market is starting to look up in my locale, and a new Warehouse-DC moved into the area. I applied the Wed before the Superbowl, was notified to make an interview appointment the night of the big game, had that great interview on the 17th of Feb (which I took off work to attend), and was notified of the job offer today when I arrived home from work.
The HR on the phone said that due to my forklift/shipping/receiving experience, I am one of few applicants that applied they feel are well-equipped to do a certain job, and that they are very happy to have me! :D I have one of the 2 positions in this regard for the new facility, and will have orientation March 23rd! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
The reason this is such a blessing to my Wife and me, is that the 'Wolf Pack' will have a 'pup' due August 11th of this year, and finances would really be scraping due to that. We found this out just before Christmas last year. This new job will support us all better, and allow my stress level to come down a few notches. (Thanks, Lord!)
So- yeah, Wolfy's gonna be a Dad!!! :D
