Wow, what an effort that went into those! :eek:

We just got finished up with the crossover on a system using that same mid, and man oh man, is it ever a nice driver. Smoooth, extended, articulate, and even gets to about 60Hz in this cabinet (new owner has subs.)

So, which Accuton mid is this?

Pete and/or Xavier, how would you compare it to the B&G Neo 8 or 10?

Obnoxious. Blatantly Obnoxious. I love it!

There is no comparison to accuton drivers. IMHO the only drivers that even come close are the scan illuminators, and the accuton still has the edge in resolution and timbre.

That's some outstanding craftsmanship!

If it sounds even 10% of the "degree of difficulty" that went into the design and construction, then it's a superb speaker.

That's the one. Awesome driver. Mike sums it up pretty well. The detail, attack, resolution, so many great things abound about this driver.

Got to listen to them for another few hours today. Very involving, and yes, they throw a HUGE stage that do indeed go beyond their physical locations.
