    Meniscus Audio sound off, Aug 25th

    This all started because there was so much interest in opinions on the ER18s and Statements. After talking w/ the guys at Meniscus we came up w/ the idea to get together and just have a listening session.

    The date will be Aug 25th (Saturday) @ around 9 or 10am. If anyone's interested, feel free to post up. Here's a quote from Mark at Meniscus:

    Matt,

    Time depends on how many people will show up. 9 or 10 sounds reasonable. If it helps, you can drop off stuff Friday night.

    I will send out an email to all our customers in a 100 mile radius and try to get some RSVP's. You can put the word out, but ask for a real commitment as space is limited.

    If someone has another interesting kit, I'm happy to demo those too.

    I'd say we have room for 6-8 listeners at a time.

    Would LOVE to hear some different designs! So far, I know there's a couple different people here locally and one of them is bringing a pair of mini Statements; which will be nice because I'm bringing my full Statements and my ER18s.

    Very much looking forward to this!!! Will be great to see other people's creativity and hear some of the hard work and effort you guys are putting into your designs. Let me know. Also, if you don't have anything to bring along, feel free to come just to listen.

    I suppose it's possible I could make it up! Pending child may change that, but I'll talk to my wife about it.

    IF I can go, I plan on bringing the Attitudes....

      Awesome Wolf! Hope it works out. Be great to meet you and hear those speakers! Either way congrats!!! This your first?

      For any gear heads that might be interested in going, Aug 25th is also Metro Cruise day in Grand Rapids. That's basically G.R.s Woodward cruise. Very good time, and LOTS of awesome cars if you can make it out. http://www.28thstreetmetrocruise.com/

          I have my set of Auroras for people to listen to. They are a 2-way with the RS28s loaded in wave guides and Vifa 8". I live in Michigan, so I'd love to come by!

                    I'm actually the one Mark was referring to with the Mini-Statements - however they're actually the statement monitors. Just a little confusion
                    Assuming nothing goes incredibly wrong with wedding planning, I'll be there as well! It's about a 10 minute drive for me so I've got no excuses ;)

                        I'll be there as it is 10 mins away from my house and I'd like to hear some of the designs listed. Most likely won't bring anything with me though.

                          I won't have time to do that between now and the 25th- not enough time. Demeanor will happen!

                          But they are likely the next project on my list. I wanted them done for MWAF, but time and life happens.
