Fair bit of discussion about this on DIY Audio.I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.

ecellent artwork. shame it dosen't use a nicer surround like some of the peerless." To me, the soundstage presentation is more about phase and distortion and less about size. However, when you talk about bass extension, there's no replacement for displacement". Tyger23. 4.2015

I'm impressed that he's already passed his goal. This kickstarter thing really seems to work for some ventures. Though part of me can't help but be skeptical about the whole thing.Isn't it about time we started answering rhetorical questions?

Re: Somebody else making a go at....
I think it's awesome he jumped all the boxes and went for dipole straight away. High end to the people! :applause:
But seriously it would be fantastic if he could get this to gather ground in these ht-times. I remember back in the seventies and eighties there were a dedicated "stereo" with big speakers in almost every home, at least here in Scandinavia. The average soundquality was for sure better back in the days compared to today with all the "microsystems" floating around..."It is only Scrooge McDuck and others with a personality disorder who have money as their goal"
