  • Amp Power cord

    Quick question.

I'm trying to replace a power cord for my AT6012 amp. What kind of cord should I get?

    I found this:

    http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=110-144

Would that be overkill, or would a regular 18/3 be sufficient?

    Thanks.

You may use a cord rated for more current than the amp draws, just not less. But a cord rated for more won't work any better.

The one you linked to would be perfect.

An IEC cord ( like Face mentioned ) listed would be fine.
( I got a bunch of those from old PCs & peripherals ).

              Hey Wolf,

Thanks for noticing! Yes, thanks to God, I'm doing OK. I'm trying to get my life back on track again one day at a time. Hopefully, I'll be able to attend one of the gatherings again sometime in the future. And I hope you are doing OK with your job and life? BTW, I think I did spy somewhere ago that Dan came up with more speaker eye-candy! I really have not scoured through the postings.

Yep- job and life are okay, and that new kiddo addition a month ago really solidified a lot of things for me. Going great!

Glad you're doing better as time goes on.

Hope to see you next Spring....
