This is how the front of my Attitudes' xovers look:
A name badge helps with bling, and a nice subdued color for the room. You can make them like amp racks, or even have a marble top. I don't have the final tops on these in the photos, but the plexiglass is cut.

I'm a night owl, due to work hours and just bodily operation.

I use a local trophy shop. They can print on metal or 'laser-thin', and the golden laser-thin is the plastic like most trophies have. They come with an adhesive backer, and in the program used they can utilize rounded corners or other shapes and outline, underline- you name it. The font can be your choice as well, and I normally pick mine. Stance's and Attitudes have the 'parchment' font, for example. Xenums are 'banff', etc. Just go through word in the fonts until you like how the name looks, and then go in to the shop and see if they can do what you want. FWIW- the prices can vary. Size going up increases cost as well.
So far they're anywhere from $10-20 for the pair of badges.

Did you give them hard copy artwork? or, just a computer file?
I gave them a size, shape, font and media/color, and they printed them.
ie- 0.75" x 2.5", oval, cyrillic, laser-thin gold, and BAM- all done.

My Stentorian crossovers are kinda a half-breed in the sense that they are exposed and visible, but not completely external. If I had intended them to be completely external, then I would have dressed them up a bit more. Most likely they'll never be seen unless someone asks to see them once I get them finished.
