And thanks guys for all the comments regarding the door prize pool. Way to hijack Ron's thread too. Hehehehe.
It is and I hope everything comes together before the 19th. If not I'll bring some pretty boxes to look at. ;-)

I've made spacers and put some finish on them. I started working on the side panels this morning. I just got confirmation that the multichannel sound card for UE shipped today.

I'm really interested in hearing UE. I hope you can hammer this out, Ron. Good luck.

There is no doubt that they're gonna be tippy, so I have to come up with something...maybe freeze it in a barrel of water and call 'em The Tip-Ups, mount them on gold footballs and call it The Lombardi Trophies, or set them on the backs of little ambivalent Greek gods and call them The Atlas Shrugged's. (that's for you, Petey!)

Well you are from the Midwest Marty so you should name them the "Cow Tippers".

I just finished slaving over a hot iron putting veneer on the side panels.

I cut the veneer and put two coats of glue on in a finished basement area. The woodworking takes place in the garage or in a plastic tented area in the back room. You can see the plastic in this picture of the finish going on the side panels.

Wow that veneer looks great, so the skinny side is going to be the front? The small ones are tops and the big ones are "bass bins"?

Correct. The two bass cabinets are in middle and are laying down. The mids and tweeter go in the small boxes and the one on the right is standing up.
