Nope, I pour a glob on the surface then use a 2" brush to push it like a snow plow working it in one direction. The trick is not to pour more on then you need. Small pieces or edges I just dip the brush.

I've used a roller before. But I didn't like the way it spread. It seemed to thin but does go mush faster.

I don't do enough at one time that I would think clean up from spraying would be worth it. Although I've not done it so maybe so.

We will agree to disagree Johnny. Your level of disdain for those who disagree ("idiot's choice" you said) doesn't seem to engender honest discussion. Plus we are way OT so I'll stop now.

How life began is of interest to many, and we will be able to answer that sooner than later - but it is not taught as nor is it considered part of evolutionary theory.

I do alot of laminating so I spray using a 2.5 gal. pressure pot,on the other hand the spraycans (rattlecans) have come along way. If I have a small part, say a back
splash, I use the can, no cleanup involved. I think someone could get better results spray
vs. brush/roller. Size matters (so my wife tells me) but most speaker projects are small
enough that a rattlecan would be far easier IMO.

Not disdain for those who disagree, but when presented with reams of evidence indicating (quite strongly) that something is actual, and real - and then inventing components of something that are not real in order to easily dismantle that something, it generates no small amount of either bemusement or dread in my mind.

There are idiot's choices to make, we all make them. When we make them in the face of very obvious facts, it becomes a problem - it inhibits intellectual advancement. Like the bigfoot hunters who call themselves scientists while starting out believing it exists.

As the man says, we are all entitled to our own opinions - but not our own facts.

...and I apologize, but a thread claiming somebodies friend has "brain rot" was derailed by disdain for those who disagree. I'm just playing along, it just so happens to be about something else people apparently abandon rationality for.

I presume you haven't done this because you have faith they would show what you would like to see. But why do you have this faith? Doesn't it seem at all odd to you that, despite inducements of upto a million dollars, nobody has ever demonstrated an ability to distinguish audiophiles wires under normal conditions by listening alone over the 35 years or so since they were first introduced. You must know this and yet you believe something else that is so strong it makes this apparently compelling fact insignificant. I would genuinely like to know what it is.
I guess you missed the part about lower order harmonics... Anyway, Voltage and current arriving in the same phase is important. Not nust in speakers. It's that simple. Really. Thaaaaaat Siiimmmppplleee. The "Audio Frequency" argument makes me laugh most times because AC is AC regardless of frequency and the rules apply, like it or not.

No one has also proven a flat frequency response makes a perfect speaker, yet everyone clings to it like golden goose when there are many speakers out there that are renowned by professionals and shi*-kickers alike that have nowhere near flat response.

It has no be "proven" that one crossover selection is better than another, etc... Like this silly gravity discussion, sometimes the keystone is amiss, yet the arc still stands because all of the other supporting stones do their Job.

That is 1/2 true. Many times manufacturers sell matching Amps/Pre amps with that output/input impedances matched so it lessens the effects of cables. Where cables make more of a difference (not necessarily the cost of the cable, but construction and electrical parameters) is when you have a pre-amp with a very high input Z while the component has a low output Z. Or vice-versa.

Another area true balanced circuitry would be a great standardization. 50 ohms out, 50 in, all the time..... The issue...? A cheap cable is all you need.

Ok so since I started the thread, my buddy has ordered wooden speaker cable lifters and some kind of Kevlar disc that supposedly sits on top of a CD in your CD player to reduce vibration. When I inquired about the cable lifters he said its to minimize noise due to static in the carpet. I think that's how they market the thing so basically he's believing the marketing. I didn't even ask about the disc.
