  • Has anyone heard from Lou C. ?

Hi all, has anyone heard from Lou C. lately? I was doing a bit of back and forth with him on some of his designs, but the last message I received was on Nov. 10th, and the last PE post was in October I think. I know he has not been feeling very well, fighting a rare form of cancer, so I hope he isn't feeling even worse.
    thanks,

He alluded to the fact that he wouldn't be around here as much anymore. I think his illness is taking its toll on him, and he's putting his energy into the things that matter most. Seemed like a good guy, I hope he's OK -- in whatever way.

Still alive, but barely. Thanks for asking. I do read, but don't post much.

Now pretty bad pulmonary problems. We're in "start over from scratch mode" medically. I have trouble typing on these meds (shaky, spacey) Just don't have the interest right now. 24/7 Oxygen, and my very stylish panic button. Cancer treatments on hold, till we can figure out breathing. Signed up for in home hospice care, in case we don't get things under control.

Back in August, I felt good, things were looking right medically, even sprang for a new car. Right now, I'd love to go to the grocery store and feel like I could get back to the car. Hope you all enjoy your upcoming holidays.

I hope they get it figured out Lou. I'm sure the cancer treatment sucked bad enough without adding more problems to it. I had some issues like that once and it turned out to be one of the meds I was taking that caused it. Switched to a different med and the problem went away as the other med worked its way out of my system.

                        Lou,
I hope you lick this. Pulmonary problems are tough. You are one of the most giving DIYer's I've had the pleasure to meet in Cyberspace. Best of luck. We're all rooting for you.

Hello Lou, cooper here. I've been around PETT 8 years or so, lurk a lot, post a little. Anyway, you have always been a class act and a huge help to newbs like me. I have a great deal of admiration for all you do. I always think of you every time I fire up the Picolattas. Please know that we are all pulling for you, and accept our thoughts and prayers. C
