That's what you're feeling. One of its consequences is wider seasonal temperature variations, another is more severe storms, so get used to it.
Outside my house it's +48 now, tomorrow it won't break +10.

          +1...

Add 10 degrees to each of those temps and you'll have LI's forecast.

It was -21 on my way to work this morning. I was surprised my Jeep, which is parked outside, even started. It's up to -16 now.

Yep, not quite so bad here in Central TX, either.

22deg right now, clear with a bit of breeze.

Saturday was a little different with a LOT more wind....

I guess that is why you have insurance.

                    Keep safe, Andy.

I'm feeling things are quite balmy in Michigan. We are sitting at 3 degrees. That is what you get for living in the south!

Re: So this is what the north pole feels like?

And I thought it was cold here... PE is sitting at a warm -7 with a -29 wind chill right now. Sunny skies, winds at 15-25 gusting to 35. We dodged the 6-10" we were supposed to get yesterday, it was 40 and rainy getting rid of most of the 4-5" we got a few days ago. It snowed hard for about a half hour, 45 minutes last night dumping another inch on us but that's it. My year old Motorcraft battery struggled to turn my truck over this morning.

Please don't perpetuate misunderstanding of global warming... When energy from the sun is kept instead of being reflected/radiated out into space, our planet becomes hotter on average. However, parts of the planet at a time will feel bigger temperature swings and weather systems as everything becomes more "active" because of entropy. So, global warming means bigger snow storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, temperature swings...etc.

Relax. It was a tongue-in-cheek humorous comment. Since when are we not allowed to have a little levity? Our health care system is being flushed down the toilet; I suppose we can't make fun of that either? On second thought, don't answer that.
