90 to 30 for me. There are some stoplights but the speed limit is 55mph and 65mph in spots IIRC. Never had a problem making the trip in around 3 hours. I noticed there is some construction on 80/90 (according to Google) around Elkhart and it's definitely the longer route, but without stoplights.

BTW- the toll booths in Indiana just over the Illinois border (as of last year) all have gates. That means that if you do not have an I-Pass, you're gonna have to pay. In Illinois, as long as your license plate is registered (with I-Pass), you can fly thru a gateless ipass toll and your account will be billed automatically. The same DOES NOT apply in Indiana.

    Thanks.

You could also get off at the Laporte exit and take 6 to 31 to 30. Avoid any construction and its only about 1-1/2 from there. I'm planning on leaving from my place around 6-7am. Don't forget the time difference!

Might as well start plugging the video stream channel - Provided we have decent internet connectivity at the hotel we'll be streaming the show on USTREAM - http://www.ustream.tv/channel/indiya...-wayne-indiana

Bookmark the channel and check in on the afternoon of May30 and the whole day of May31.

If I can remember, I will try to peek in occasionally from California. Thanks for your commitment, Bryan!

I will be bringing 4G hotspot functionality, so perhaps that might work better than the hotel wifi. We will have to investigate when there.

Who is your 4G provider? I have Sprint as well as Clear and they suck in Fort Wayne. Low signal for Sprint and NO SIGNAL for Clear. :(

This is very true! The first time I drove up your way I missed the toll once because I didn't know it was there. I'm used to how it is here.

Took me closer to 2 hrs to you, but it depends on how you drive.

                        Agreed-
I personally think 30 isn't a wrong way to go, and you aren't too far from the Hyatt when you get to the Fort.

Ditto on the time difference- I should likely post that info on the website.

Looks like I'll be bringing one pair, unless someone has a request. (Nope- the 'Tudes are staying home.)
Trikes, Stances, Sophomores, even the Schwarz XL (which will be there for sale) are options.

                          Fenghuang are the theme entry...

OK great....thanks and thanks cjd. What I usually do is set up the laptop in the conference room and do a speed test on the hotel WIFI. Every year it has been a different speed which is why I never guarantee a good video stream. Last year it turned out OK. In 2012 we had some problems. I'll know Friday afternoon what the dilly-o is. If I get a poor connection, perhaps we can tether one of your phones. I would appreciate it.
