      Xmax?
      Xmech?
      Voice coil former material?
      VC diameter?

      I was surprised to see a model number in the title and that's it.
      I take it this is a special from Meniscus?

      The frame looks familiar and with the spider so far forward from the top plate
      it looks like it should have a very healthy Xmech, which is good.

      Good to hear that it is made in the US.

        Posts like this are the reason threads like this should not be started. The mechanical information would have already been posted if it had been made public. The rest of the information is already in the thread somewhere.

          I did the seminar with the only two of these drivers in existence. Mark then moved as quickly as possible to get a production run for those who were wanting them. A lot of these details have not been posted yet. Some of it I don't even know. We just need everyone to be a little patient and Meniscus will get the details listed soon.

                Really, is that how the world works according to you?

                I don't think any of my questions were already answered and what is the harm in asking?

                It actually looks a lot like a driver that I asked them for back in 2009.

                        I had the chance to break in my two drivers with my standard procedure after work tonight. Got the kids to bed and was able to take these measurements. I set my Le measurement to 10kHz instead of 1kHz. Added mass of 20.5 g for Vas measurement:

                              Could someone with a pair take a look under the spider to see if the VC former
                              is metalic or not?

                              Also, does the former look to be 1.5" roughly?
