Since I was a little kid I had always hoped to get a chance to go to the price is right. Well, today that's gonna happen.

Hopefully I get up on stage and win a car or something.

Unfortunately we were unable to even get IN, so we are wait listed to try again tomorrow. It will be our last chance since we fly home Wednesday, but I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Well, today didnt go any better, however we now have a close friend that lives in LA, so the plan is to try for preferred seating when we plan our next trip out (which hopefully wont involve a 5 day road trip beginning in some of the worst driving conditions I have ever seen.

By the way, if it comes time to move 2500 miles across country, and one of your options is to pull a 5x8 trailer completely loaded down, using a mid sized sedan, sell your sedan and buy an SUV. Using a 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5SE, we averaged around 11mpg and it was hell up and down the hills through Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.

Also, despite the 85º weather, I am ready to be home. Its been a long 10 days.

Dustin! I got bedda than 11 MPG haulin' 16 cows in a hitch trailer from Tejas with my Hemi Ram at 80MPH! His truck died so I did the "roundup" for him. I just wish we had a goose-neck and a 1-ton Cummins with the new 8 speed tranny in it! I'd never known I was pulling anything! You can get that thing right up to 90 (that's right) GRAND with all the toys on it. I drove one at the dealership when I was getting my oil changed... Told the saleslady it needed a bed and bathroom in it for $89,600!

Yeah, something with a bigger engine would have been exceptionally more fuel efficient, and something with a more tow ready suspension.
