      recessing both worked great and they went together ...

        probably need the recess to go high enough to allow for the movement.....

            Recess a slot above the tab.....money.

              i just did them equal and a lil shallower , worked but lose . the marine industry uses these that are spring loaded , gonna try and get over to the coast this weekend and see if i can pick some of those up ...

                All you need to do is recess that slot up above the one that you aren't moving and it will be great. I know what I'm doing for mine now. Thanks for doing all the trial and error for me. :p

                      thanks for the help Joey , this is what i ended up with , its working great ...






                      only thing left to mount is the rubber ducky antenna . gonna start breaking it down and applying bondo ....

                        progress ... drilled and set hurricane nuts and got everything broke down and first coat of primer on the OS's . my antenna did not come in today so i'm forced to hold off on the sub box ...
