seven light coats of clear may have been a bit much , going on day three in the florida sun and still a little tacky . was hoping to get them back together tonight . i have my antenna so i'll start finishing the sub/electronics box today ...Comment

i am running into some issues with the antenna mount , seem 3/4 MDF is a lil thicker than than a fender ...
hardware didn't have a beveled head 5mm in the length i need so i got a few and going to try a few different things ...Comment

well , i may have to either build a new box or sand this one down to bare wood . this morning i sanded all the clear off and got down into the paint but the first coat of primer cracked up , i sanded smooth and did another coat . guess i'll wait and see ....Comment
