Looks interesting. Image search says that it is indeed in a waveguide http://www.pcpaudio.com/pcpfiles/pro...2/T2030big.jpg Has a higher FS so it would need a woofer/mid that could cross a little higher.

That seems like a nice tweeter. 2Khz @ at 12+dB slope is doable. If you're doing high efficiency for home listening, you might be able to push that a bit, as you wouldn't be pushing the power limits.

Looks good, although no off-axis curves are provided, and the on-axis response drops off around 16kHz (although I can't hear that high anyway). Check out where the pos&neg terminals are located! Might need to provide a back chamber because the flange probably won't seal well.

There are some inexpensive tweeters from Peerless in the BC25... part number series that have 92-96dB depending on loading of the dome and are inexpensive. For instance:

If you using a small mid that will cross around 3k, this is a pretty nice tweeter.

Beyma's data pretty much matches their stuff as far as I've seen. Based on that, 2KHz is certainly doable, which still limits you to 7" or smaller woofers as far as a potential directivity match.

More thorough data there. For the price, you get a nice built in guide and what looks like a smooth off axis response. From a purely objective standpoint, it looks like a decent deal.

I wonder how well this tweeter would work with the PM180. Seems like it might be an option for a high efficiency 2way at the expense of the low end you might get with other 6-7" mid/woofers.

A 6" woofer needs to be crossed lower than what this tweeter is capable of.
