  • Write-up On My Ludicrosity Entry - The Tributes

Here is a link to a full write-up on my winning Ludicrosity contest entry at InDIYana. A deceptively simple design that works exceptionally well. Click here: https://app.box.com/s/1fnro0kvyekdl3drm0w1

These didn't make it home with me. Someone snatched them up before I left.

They sounded impressive for sure. Did you optimize the baffle/box design for sound or did you have an aesthetic in mind? The writeup at InDIYana was very informative and appreciated!

Nice, once again the work of a crossover magician! I'd loved to have heard them.

Thanks. I'll probably miss them. They imaged better than any other speaker I have. Go figure.

A thing of beauty from the design standpoint. A great reflection on the legacy of Bud Frieds designs. Maybe you deserve that halo after all.

Ben might be able to fix you up with a listen. (He doesn't have them, but he can connect you with the person who does.)

Jeff, and what is the baffle size? If you don't mind me asking :-)

Thanks for sharing I enjoyed them. The SB drivers look/ sound like high value.

Here's a clip of the system from my GoPro. The audio quality is much better than the video stream was, so for those of you who saw this online, you can get a better idea of how they filled the room.

                            What's not to like?
Very reasonable price, flat FR, low distortion and great imaging.
Thought I was through with 6 inch 2 ways for a while. Looks like another build to be added to the list.

                            Thanks Jeff!

I guess I have to add the Ludicrosity to my list of speakers to build this summer!
