Hey guys.
Looking for a great subwoofer design and eyes got fixed at Paul Carmody's Swope sub. The thing is I live in Sweden and it will cost me approx. $450 to get the HiVi SP10!
However PE points out the Dayton RSS265HO as a suitable replacement driver for the HiVi SP10. And there is a Dayton Audio dealer here in Sweden so it won't cost me so much to get it.
My question to all of you experienced guys out there: Can the Dayton RSS265HO be placed in the Swope sub design with good result or is it a mistake?
If not, how would you do a vented design for the Dayton to go deep with a flat response?
Have a nice day y'all!
PS. The sub will be used to provide some serious bottom end for a pair of Overnight Sensation MTM. The goal is to get great sound with flat response 20-20k Hz
