Those look great! Definitely looks better with the reworked baffle. I think they are worth the extra effort of veneering and painting! Skip the Duratex.

i do too ! unfortunately i do not posses those skills ... i would love to see them in a curved cab with a nice finish .

i'm happy though , not bad for my third build . i also have to thank Jbruner for all the help and time that he put in to these and Chris Roemer for modeling the box and the F/Z files .

7 hours non-stop getting #2 ready had me so wore out i didn't even hook it up , that and i forgot to grab some connectors ... this morning i changed the diaphragm in the bad tweet so all i'll have to do tonight is twist together XO #2 and let it break in ....

a few hours with these ... wow !!!

still a little work though . together they are lil bright and the upper bass needs a lil clean up ...

my amp loves them . i swear i heard it say "thank you" as walked by to go to the bathroom so i reached out and felt it , i have never felt it play so cool ....

and they are LOUD !

i found the baffles in the scrap pile , but proceeded to mess one up ... lol

got the bass cleaned up this weekend , rearranged and added a lil stuffing . we also went up to 3.24 on the tweeter padding and they are very well balanced .

i have been looking at this XO for over a week now and its time to try and figure out how to get it onto a board ...

good thing i sent both bad diaphragms to Josh . he discovered that PE sent me Usher 9550's and i now have the RS/9550 hybrid ... doesn't sound bad or look bad but will be straightened out . just a small set back .

I am guessing you meant they sent you replacement domes for the Usher 9950-20 strange I can't even find the 9950 replacement dome on Parts Express. I am sure some may find the fact that your are using the 9950 dome in a RS28F very interesting, I sure do. Then again the lineage of the RS28 is no secret. Perhaps you should start a new thread on this one.
