with seperate measurement how do i put them together ?

Use one measure button for the tweeter, and then use the second button for the mids. The color of each trace will be different. Also, turn off the phase and distortion displays.

When you disconnect drivers, do so at the x-over input, not the output side. I hope that makes sense.

thank you rpb , i really do appreciate your help . it was getting late last night and i was getting frustrated . i've gotten multi-colors before and have no idea why i was not last night , if i get time at work today i'll go back through your starter guide and Holm's pdf and see if i can suss it ... i'm trying so please bare with me .

Look at the picture above for the three buttons that say "measure". See the red, green and blue squares?

yes , i tried that but the red measure button still gave me a blue curves ...

Try changing the line color. Click on the red square, and a box of colors shows up that allows you to pick a new color, and even alows you to define your own. Maybe after making a change, the color will work correctly. I just changed mine to some easier to see colors. I was sometimes having trouble telling the blue from the green.

ok, i didn't get much done last night other than killing a bottle of Bacardi in some frozen rum drinks , was a hot day at work !

we did make a small change . we took out the 2ohm resister and put in a 3ohm in the tweeter circuit to help pad it down a bit . was a good change to my ears . i'm going to do some more reading today and try to get measurements tonight . i have the feeling that i check/un-checked something in Holm while playing around and thats why i'm stuck with blue .... again, thanks for your help rpb .

ok , i think i got the multi-colors back . never mind the curves as it is just laptop speakers and mic ...

Make sure that the laptop speakers don't play when actually making a measurement. I've been fooled by that mistake..

no worries , i hook up using HDMI and make sure my amp is the playback device ...
