this is becoming frustrating ! UMM-6 is still not giving multi-colors . but i did find a box this morning that i un-checked when looking for something specific and i think that might be it , will see tonight . i did get some whole speaker measurements that showed me what i was looking for , the 3ohm padding on the tweet ...

The colors don't really matter so much as being able to see several measurements at the same time. If you uncheck the measurement signal box, it will take the measurement signal line off the chart. You can get a better view of the measurement by using your mouse, and selecting a smaller area of the graph. The graph then expands to fill the screen. If you don't like the change, right click on it, and it goes back to the previous size.

i understand what your saying and i get what i need from the graphs i've posted . it would be nice to get some nice pretty multi-colored graph for everyone else tho ...

got the second box together today , will do cut outs for port and binding post as well as cut and attach the baffle tomorrow ...

damn guys !!! i jacked up the 2nd baffle , i'm so ****** at myself rite now !!!

i measured 3 times and was still off . the spacing is off just a tic and i had to use bondo to fill in . what y'all think ??? run with it or scrap it and cut another baffle ?

I would live with it, then Duratex the crap out of the front baffle so that nobody notices. The texture hides flaws nicely.

i'm leaning that way too Rory , but the apcing i'm referring to is one speaker to another . 1st one i got 1/8" between drivers , 2nd one much less ...

Your driver spacing needs to match (left and right speakers) or your crossover phasing will be different and probably noticeable.

Check that - how much different will the two be? If your talking 1/16 or so, then you can live with it as long as your visual appearance is acceptable to you.

its not enough to be audible in the sound , more of i have to look at it every day kinda thing ...

i went ahead and finished this baffle , back cuts and all . gonna set it aside and chew on what i want to do .

for now more voicing , we're splitting hairs rite now between 3ohm and 2.5ohm on the tweeter circuit ....

Nice build! I'd go with 2.718 ohms on the tweeter padding :D

thanks for recommendation , will give it a listen ... ;)

i got 2.5 on it now and really liking it . its very well balanced .

i am also looking at the jacked up baffle and think i may be able to live with . tonight i'm gonna load the drivers and set it in place and have a good look . at this point it would be another $10-$15 and 3 hours more work . i think this build may deserve it , they are going to be really good ...

Looks like you are getting a little noise in the measurement starting at the 90cm mark. It will probably just make the response slightly rougher but it is easy enough to play with the gate and see how much it is affecting response.

It may not be a problem. A little noise will not affect the response too much.
