Matt(sk8) and CraigK are planning some Saturday night informal listening I believe in their room at the Ramada.

We switched our schedule up and we're leaving Saturday after the event now, so Friday night will be our informal the jam session.

Well that's too bad. If anybody's staying over Saturday night, let me know.

So as of now we're hitting over 20 some projects. I'm guessing a good protocol would be for everyone to get at least one opening/showing, then if there's time all presenters that brought more then one project would then follow through with another project? Sounds fair, right? I don't wanna put a cap on projects, nor do I want it to turn out like it did 2 years ago when there were so many projects that nobody was there in the end to hear the last presenters.
Also, Rory as far I can tell you'll be in town Friday? Since we're using your gear are you up for setting that stuff up Friday night to save some time Saturday?
Tim (links) are you bringing your acoustic panels up there Friday evening?

Apparently there is a livestock convention in town. They are similar to us.....they will be observing cluckers while we are observing tweeters.

I'll base Ben, Matt, and Chuck's shares on the price of the cheaper room at the Ramada so they aren't paying any more than they would otherwise.
I wanna publicly say thanks for doing that, but a 4-way split makes it easier indeed.

I'm good with this, mainly cuz it'll give me an excuse to leave the ER18 home and just bring my Blues towers. The Volvo was getting kinda packed .

I can leave the Fenghuang home if necessary. I want to bring both the Nephila and the Xenoliths though.

A note about the venue. FirstBuild is divided into 3 areas, the front area is a 'collaboration space' and demo kitchen, there is a makerspace area with workbenches, 3d printers, laser cutter, etc and a micro factory. The majority of the event will take place in the front space, which is open to the public with no access restrictions. In order to get in the other areas, there are a few restrictions in place. In order to get into the makerspace you must create an account on firstbuild.com (it is completely free and all that is required is an email address) and sign a liability waiver. Anyone under 18 must have their parent or legal guardian present in the makerspace.

I bring this up for a couple reasons, one is that Jerry and I are setting up a PA in the microfactory area to play around with some of the bigger stuff we have been working on, and I can also give tours for those interested (I have a feeling our shopbot would be interesting to several people). In order to save time, it would be helpful to create an account on firstbuild.com prior to the event if you are interested in getting into the makerspace and microfactory.
