If I were going to pick up a pair of Transducer Lab's newly released tweeters which would you prefer I use and post an evaluation of here for info:

    1.) Alumina Ceramic dome

    2.) Magnesium Oxide dome

I thought I would get some input before I made up my mind.

Well, Infinity already dis alumnum ceramic domes (cerametallic) so I vote for magnesium oxide just because it is different. Probably won't do a build with either so my vote shouldn't really count I guess.

Everyone, I just learned that I can now get the Beryllium dome tweeter, so that's the one I went with.

How much do the Beryllium tweeters go for?

Very interested in your thoughts on that tweeter Jeff. Are you going with round or square, A or G? Do you have any ideas about what you would pair them with? And are you thinking 2-way or 3-way for this particular project? I thought long and hard about the TL drivers before finally pulling the trigger on the Satori tweeter, but still interested in reading about what people think of the new TL tweeters all the way around actually.

Any waveguide temptations creeping into the picture on this or any other project?

Jeff, I am so impressed with my late discovery -- rs28a. It gives all I like! Cymbals sound like they should, not soft ps-sss. I am really looking forward to your comparison with this tweet, this and maybe the satori :-).

Yeah- it's now available, but I didn't even ask about those.... Price is likely just TOO HIGH for me.

IME, hearing the N26C-A and the RS28A both, the N26 is better. It just takes a higher cost of admission.
