I've had only 3 dogs in my life, a Collie and a Beagle up until I went off to college, which was decades ago, and a Lab mix who left us over 12 years ago, but there have been lots of cats. We have only one cat now and lost our previous one several years ago, yet hardly a week goes by that I don't think about some of them, starting with happy memories, then tears.

That was about eight years ago now. Jackson is all grey bearded up these days.
