I can't get to my pics right now. But there are 4 builds in the shop right now in various stages. And a few other projects as well.

I'm frantically trying to finish up 2 Christmas presents. They will most likely both be a little on the late side as I'm worried about the finish drying before I have to pack one up and ship it across the country. Most everything is cut, but I still have a LOT of sanding to do!

Once I get these done, I've got at least 3 speaker projects in the works. One almost finished, one almost finished with a test box, and the third is still in the planning stage.

Man, those are sweet. The hanging one is a great idea.

Sawdust year round here. Just finished Spitfire mains and Burro subs. Finished a small Arts & Crafts style plant stand for my wife (scale prototype). Starting Mandolin mtm and mt for a ht update.
I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.

I made some sawdust yesterday to make a template to rout
the nameplates for my Linehopper speakers. The nameplates
are 1x4 inches. The test circles below the nameplate
test rectangles were made earlier when I was setting the depth
& diameter for my driver holes and recesses.

                Re: Anyone making winter sawdust?

I'm still busy cleaning up the fall sawdust!
After some major house projects I took a good look around the shop and realized what mess it turned into.

I also decided to bite the bullet and clean out the cold storage area where I've been hoarding hundreds of pieces of scrap wood.
Its so expensive and I hate having to run out and buy that one odd piece.. But it was getting to the point where I couldn't find anything. So now its either gone or sorted into bins...
Pondering starting a support group called "Woodchucks Anonymous" - anybody interested?

As soon as the holidays are done I'll be putting together a full range desktop system with the dayton 3.5 incher
                http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-...8-ohm--295-349

...Pretty sure I still have enough wood for that.

Nice work 1000xxben those are very intricate. I love the idea to hang them too. Johnny that's a good idea for a present my wife and sister could use some storage for their jewelry.

I'm working on finishing these off at the moment for Christmas presents. One is for my wife and one for her sister. They are just butcher blocks but I think part of me is going cry a bit when I see them using it to cut on I don't want them damaged lol.

There used to be a rickety spiral staircase that was cobbled into the space by a previous owner. It was shaky and there wasn't proper headroom to the basement ceiling. A contractor built the stairs and landing and I took out part of a bedroom wall to make the opening for the new stair, made a new bedroom wall, extended a hallway wall and built the new stairway guardrail. Next up will be building walls for the stairwell. Someday I will get back to speaker boxes.

                          Re: Anyone making winter sawdust?

Tried out my new Craftsman router today for a friend's build (kairos)--was just getting into the swing of things when the wind whipped up and temps dived. But boy I love the soft start. Also more power, less vibration than the old one. Unfortuntely, the only sawdust I will see given weather reports for the next few days is sweeping up.

Edit: but the power cord gets just as snarled--am I the only one?
