I need to thank Melby Audio for this build. I wanted a translam cabinet and he worked with me to get it done. He was very prompt in communications with me. The design pics he sent came quickly and everything was agreed upon quickly. The price is very reasonable. The grade of ply is finish ready. I filled and sanded slightly and applied the finish.
Also the kit is available at meniscus with the upgraded tweeters. This is the first kit I bought and it was well worth it. It's the same price as buying everything separate except you make one click. Everything you need is there. Wires, terminals, connectors (correct sizes), screws, crossover mdf board, sticker crossover diagram and stuffing. Seriously saves you hours of time and all their xover parts measure spot on. Seriously couldn't be happier with the kit package I got.
With all these projects I had going it was hard to get them all squeezed in before Christmas. I promised my wife that I wouldn't work on speaker stuff during our winter break. We take off of work from dec 22 to jan 5th. I was hoping to have all these completed before the break so we can listen and enjoy the well needed time off of work.
I'm not quite done with these yet. I need to solder the crossovers and wires but the boards are glued up and the cabinets are "finished". So xovers and mount drivers left.
