I’m always amazed by the immediacy of these speakers.
I made a little experiment with a couple spruce sound boards, the piano tone it generated was mind boggling.

Cool, what’s the construction method and materials on these new ones?
Have you come up with optimal dimensions?

I use 1/2inch high density expanded polystyrene with a frame and spine. Page 99 (allenB) pics of how its done.

Have you settled on optimal dimensions?

Width can be from 5-12inches while the height can be twice the size or more. I prefer smaller panels to use with a powered subwoofer.
