June 12-14 we will have a gathering of audio lovers to show off DIY speakers, amps, whatever. This will be the closing weekend for the Hot Springs Music Festival so if you bring your significant other you can listen to live music. I can offer housing again at $25 a night in a double room with two single mattress beds. It is in our residence hall that was built three years ago. The school, ASMSA, is located right at the end of downtown and the National Park. This is a pretty low key affair, almost a show and tell. We usually get together for meals and most of the restaurants are within walking distance. If you significant other does come with you it is called the Spa City because there are spas all over the place including the Buckstaff in historic Bath House Row. Feel free to contact me by private message.

Re: Acoustic Development V in Hot Springs, Arkansas
Heard from Dave (TN) and Nathan (TX) and they both said they were planning on making it. Blair has other plans and nothing from Mark (TX) yet. Hopefully Tom (AR) will chime in soon. As the schedule comes out for Friday and Saturday for the Music Festival I will post a link. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Re: Acoustic Development V in Hot Springs, Arkansas
Hi this is William. I'm probably going to make it again this year. Let me know if I need to bring some electronics. Have a decent Emotiva DAC and a few solid state amps. Have finished the NaO Note II RS build but I'll need some help moving all of this stuff inside if you're interested to hear these. It may be a better idea for me to bring the recently finished Auricles with the redwood burl veneer. These have the Satori woofer with the Raal ribbon tweeter. I may have a pair of 88 specials also finished from DIY sound group but no guarantees.“Reality exists in the human mind, and nowhere else.” ― George Orwell, 1984
Builds: Auricles | NaO Note II RS | Fusion 12 | The Piccolo's | Mark K's ER18's | Pluto Clones | Dayton 15" Ultimax Sub | Kairos | DIYSG 1099 Home Theater

I am more than willing to help get theses packed up and in/out of the event. We are not short on helping hands. Now really nice dipole speakers ,on the other hand, we are in short supply!
Steve
I have any amount of moving blankets, bubble wrap, or boxes you need to help get the dipoles secured for transport. PM me if you need anything.

I am looking at bringing some things down......they will of course be half finished oddball things like I always do.
Just taking a poll: Do my oddball projects garner any interest or am I just adding extra clutter to the room?
I found the source of the buzz on the Amp Camp Amps I had last year. The RCA plug was making oh so little contact with the chassis and caused a random ground loop. I wish these got a better chance to play last year!
