Last time I looked they only have flights to Florida, Arizona and California from Des Moines. Great prices for sure but in most cases you can't get there from here.

I've secured the same hotel as last year with the same arrangement, which will allow us to do informal listening on Friday and Saturday (night) in the dedicated meeting room. The cutoff time for informal listening will be 10pm on both nights. We're still negotiating the "group rate" so don't make any reservations just yet. Stay tuned for more details.

Never...LOL...and last year we bribed the hotel desk clerk to let us stay in the conference room till midnight. But this year we will be winding things up at 10pm in the meeting room. Hotel policy.

Would like to be there, my Uncle lives up there, good excuse to the wife, right? ;)

Spoke to the hotel manager and unfortunately it doesn't look like we are going to get a group "discount." However, if you elect to prepay, you have AAA, or military/senior, you can get a discount. I'm not going to push the issue with the hotel because they are giving us the meeting room for two nights for free and their base rate is cheap as it is. The rate for a double queen is $89.99+tax/night.

Go ahead and make your reservations whenever you're ready and please mention IOWA DIY so the meeting room stays free. (641)236-6116
