Lately I was feeling a bit under the weather, this is pretty "mellow" so to speak;
Old school Willy Nelson- "You are always on my Mind" and that era.
Al Stewart- "Year of the Cat."

Not mellow- Kid Rock- "All Summer Long." I suspect this one song is receiving about as much airplay as anything else. Usually played at high volume levels in the morning Coffee time to make sure the neighbors get off to work on time....
Also the Boss, Van Halen, Skorps, you get the idea.

I am currently listening to the new Faith No More album Sol Invictus.

How is it? I used to like Faith No More but haven't heard anything from them in a while.

This cover of Maroon 5's "Maps" is really great. The vocalist, Matt Turkington, is really good.

Also been hitting a few cuts from The Agonist.

Been checking out a lot of the "stoner" rock lately, The Sword, Sasquatch, Atomic Bitchwax... I like the heavy Sabbathy grooves!!

I like the Melvins. If you're into that grunge style check out Graveyard for sure! Not exactly HIFI stuff but man those guys can rock.

I have picked up The Mighty Mighty BossTones, Reel Big Fish, Mad Caddies and The Dropkick Murphys.

They have got some rock based uptempo big brass and bassist type of music. Really been liking all of them.

I've been on a Paul Whiteman and his Orchestra (Bix Beiderbeck fronting) kick this week. Also the Hot Club of France with Louis Armstrong and Djingo Rhinehart. Quite a difference in Satch and Bix's style on "About a Quarter 'Til Nine".
Last week it was Asleep at the Wheel, Highway 101 and hard-core (Hank Sr.-type) country. Go figure.
I'm thinking about The Alan Parson's Project's "Eve" next up.
