That cover art is from Freek Show. The go to song on that album is We Don't Die.

I had also just read recent statistics about a drop in interest in new music at 33, but had it 10 years early. I had a big slump in interest in the '90s that went totally off grid by '92 (in my early 20s). I was just listening to what I already had and filled in with some older stuff that was "new" to me. It lasted about 10 years. Lately I'm going back to a lot of semi-obscure greatest hits. The best known stuff from lesser-known artists.
          In the last hour:

Solomon Burke, Cry to Me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEu8DrO9PbY

Mose Alison , The Seventh Son https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EngRmYu_vs

And this one that swings a little

John Lee Hooker, Boom Boom https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSnQ0bdHW0s

Galaxie 500. Listen, Snow Is Falling (This is the live version from the Copenhagen album. Full disclosure: THIS IS A YOKO ONO COVER. If you don't like it immediately, skip to 2:00 and give it until the "guitar solo" that starts at 3:00. If you think you hate the guitar solo.. skip to 4:15-4:20 on play from there. This is a song that takes the long way around (8 1/2 minutes.)

It is good but kind of short. It is also a bit different than any of their other albums. Not a whole lot of guitar work. Mostly bass, drums ,keyboard, and piano with a small dose of guitar here and there. Definitely worth checking out IMO.

Another Ska fan! Two more to check out are Save Ferris and the earlier stuff from No Doubt. I also like Five Iron Frenzy, The O.C. Supertones, and The Insyderz.

The last ten tracks played from my current shuffle list, which is everything I have in FLAC format (all my CDs ripped, plus a few trades):

                  2) Diana Krall - The Girl In The Other Room - "Almost Blue"

                  3) Marc Cohn - The Very Best Of Marc Cohn - "The Things We've Handed Down"

                  4) Norah Jones - Come Away With Me - "The Long Day Is Over"

                  5) Paramore - Riot! - "Let The Flames Begin"

                  6) Brian Bromberg - Jaco - "Three Views of a Secret"

                  7) Trans-Siberian Orchestra - The Lost Christmas Eve - "Christmas Nights in Blue"

                  8) Chris Jones - No Looking Back - "No Looking Back"

                  9) Ben Folds - Way To Normal - "You Don't Know Me (featuring Regina Spektor)"

                  10) David Cook - This Loud Morning - "This Is Not The Last Time"
Technology in the service of art, for the life of the music.

Seen the listing on TV for the Styx show of them doing Pieces of Eight and The Grand Illusion. Had to play both CD's, and loudly. I love music you can play loud and it doesn't give you a headache!

I visited their website and gave it a try, but it's way too tame for my taste. It's kinda like Diet Rush.
