From the other site posts, the "M2" mentioned is the JBL M2.
The $1,800/pair loudspeaker is a "long-ago-discontinued Infinity Interlude floor stander" per Floyd Toole.

One thing sad about that video is the inserted feature about Canada's NRC and how it was intended to help Canadian companies compete (initially with the US mostly but now I imagine on a more global scale).
But then Dr. Barton (I assume he has a PhD but if he doesn't he gets an honorary one from me) goes on to indicate that the speakers are actually manufactured in China!
It isn't clear whether Barton works for the NRC or if he just uses the facilities. I find that angle very interesting.
And what I'm writing isn't a criticism of PSB or Barton or the NRC, just an observation.
Floyd Toole worked at NRC Canada. Energy and Paradigm also used their test facilities for development of their loudspeakers. It's been quite a few years, but I can remember Paradigm publicizing their use of the NRC Canada facilities, and the benefits to their designs. I am not aware of their countries of manufacture.
