I theorize: "Mangusta", CF120-4/RT002A-Dipolar....

I used the baffle simulator from Jeff to get the rolloff with the dipolar peak, so the response will be altered. I also have some measurements from another member here that showed it had an extended lowend..
I really do think it will work.
We'll see,
Wolf

I'm curious to see if you can make this combo work. I'm thinking the CF120 will not go high enough to meeting the roll off of the Beston used OB.

Woodsart- I have not gone any further with these yet. It should be a quick build, but we'll see how soon I get to them.
Chris- there is no way to insert a reply in the middle of the thread anymore. It goes on the end with your quote.

Given my pragmatic nature, I'd have to go for something like "X 1/9". It's still mid-engine Italian, parts are plentiful, and $30k doesn't buy you a project requiring another $70k for the restoration. Oh, and I'd like mine with a modern engine transplant instead of the 65hp sewing machine motor they shipped with.

Rob

That Varedo seems like it could be using the same 351 Cleveland that the Panterra used?
- oops
I see Jeff already mentioned the Cleveland (thought I was replying way back to post #14 or so).
Is there a way to INSERT a comment in a particular place in a thread (the way we USED to be able to do, to sorta direct a response to a particular poster)? I don't know how anymore.
Maybe when board software gets updated, we should be provided w/a "User Manual" (.pdf, NOT printed!) so we can get up to speed quicker?

Hey Wolf, I was just skimming this thread...did you finish this build. I have the woofers and would love to build one of your designs.
Thanks, Robert
