Woodsart- I have not gone any further with these yet. It should be a quick build, but we'll see how soon I get to them.

Chris- there is no way to insert a reply in the middle of the thread anymore. It goes on the end with your quote.

You can order them direct from Beston. I know Kenny K ordered a set that way. PE does not stock the dipolar version, yet I got them as a door prize at MWAF.

Looks like the dipolars are now available from PE!!
Beston RT002A-Dipolar Ribbon Tweeter 6 OhmThe Beston RT002A-Dipole tweeter's driven radiating surface mass is extremely low, and contributes to the transducer's superb range, efficiency, tonal neutrality, and transient response. The motor, diaphragm, and carefully controlled horn loading combines to create a perfect balance of sensitivity and wide, even dispersion. This version of the RT002A has no rear cup, which improves low frequency response down to 1,000 Hz and makes it perfect for use in dipole speaker systems.A ribbon tweeter's radiating surface approaches the theoretical ideal of a zero-mass audio source. The articulation, attack, and sonic transparency are quite impressive, and the diaphragm's monolithic shape and orientation provide a broad horizontal and tightly controlled dispersion characteristic, which is ideal for many listening environments. Beston's carefully sculpted waveguide faceplate further improves the tweeter's linear emission of smooth, extended high frequencies.Achieve studio monitor-like audio precision with your next high-efficiency speaker project! Beston recommends a third order (18 dB/octave) or higher crossover to achieve maximum power handling. Suggested crossover frequency of 2,800 Hz or higher.

I think this will be my next one,

It's hard for me to take Beston serious when their logo looks so "Fisher Price". Nice the OB version is available.

I'm curious to see if you can make this combo work. I'm thinking the CF120 will not go high enough to meeting the roll off of the Beston used OB.

I used the baffle simulator from Jeff to get the rolloff with the dipolar peak, so the response will be altered. I also have some measurements from another member here that showed it had an extended lowend..

I really do think it will work.
                      We'll see,

Not yet. I'm in fallout from MWAF. I suspect later this year I'll start on these.

Thanks, Ben. If you are referring to "Fallout" the game, then you must be "possibly" implying bleak, depressing, eerie and gritty!! Haha!
