I need a 1000 watt plate amp. Which do you prefer?
Sub is lighter, easier to move
Only need to run speaker wire, not rica or power
Easy to make adjustments to gain,x-over, eq, etc.
Amp not subject to internal pressures or vibrations from the driver

I have given the rack mount Dayton amp serious consideration. I elected not to go with the crown type amp for now because I want the crossover built in.

The XLS Drivecore amps have a LP filter built in if you elect to use it.
