    Re: 2015 cky-diy

    ROCK N ROLL!!!

I'll mock up a small event web site on the Midwest Audio Club site and I can host pictures of the swap meet stuff if people want to show off their "for sale" items beforehand.

I should be able to secure some door prize goodies as well.

      Re: 2015 cky-diy

Just an informational event site for now. As we secure sponsors and get pics for swap meet items, I'll update the page and probably add a couple tabs. There's some content from last year's show there as well.

I will try and come too. I just got back a pair of speakers I built in the middle 80's with only a calculator! I have to see if they are still in working condition, they haven't been in my possession in more than 10 years. If they function I'll bring them.

I will be there as well. I'll bring the Kozo - designed and built by JasonP.

Thanks for your help Bryan, it's much appreciated. And kudos to Eric for hosting again this year, the First Build space is an excellent venue. I'm on the fence this year, I have a special friend that will be in from Scotland, we're planning on attending but if our schedule changes I'll be consigned to looking at pictures.

Ahhh, that better be a fence that's leaning toward the Louisville area, Tom! What better way to endulge a friend with one of your hobbies than to come to a gathering? ;):D

Hoping to attend as well. Also planning on bringing a project along for once.

Why was the name of the event changed? I though KY-DIY was a slick name!

It sorta went away from the norm at times last year with the 'KY-DIY' moniker. 'CKY-DIY' was what it was always known as prior, meaning Central Kentucky-DIY. Outside of the triangle from Cinci to Luavull to Lex, it's basically the 'holler'; or at least that's how Ed Froste stated it to me. Therefore, the Kentucky DIY area is mainly central in the state.

I'm not from KY, but this is how it was explained to me, and I never miss the event there.

What he said. Consequently how I was introduced to the speaker geek clan some 5 years ago.

I might be able to make that weekend. If anyone from the greater Nashville area wants to car pool, I could possibly bring someone with me.

Sure. Let me get the Active cross over out also and I will pair them with my Kappa 120.w9 dual opposed subs. That should be fun.
