Those are spec'd out as 4ohm speakers. Because of that, you should be looking at 4ohm drivers, not 8ohm.

A 2ohm (10w?) resistor aHEAD of the XO (amp side, not next to driver) should drop the tweeter by about -2dB. 4ohms, about -4dB, etc.
