I run the artwork thru a copy machine, and then iron it on. I use peroxide and muriatic acid. My tank is a generic tuber ware thing, and I have a air pump in the bottom.Pretty simple, but most people stray way far away from this much. "fun"... LOL.Maybe next year I can do some electrical stuff.

Hey guys maybe I'm slow but I just figured out (and had somebody confirm) that the dahlquist drivers and the bravox drivers are the same thing (and still available). Price went down with the name change too. They did show some impressive bass.

Keep up the preamp work. That sounds kinda interesting. I also foun this one
"An' then ya bring alla ground wahrs to uh, uh single po-wint..." He looked just like I always pictured: jet-blueblack hair Royal Crown'd into that famous pompadour, the heavily lidded eyes, the .357 Magnum in case Robert Goulet appeared on any nearby TV screen...and the Weller temperature-controlled soldering iron. "...Ah think ya need to bypass them big ol' electrolytics, too..." I knew I was dreaming, but it didn't matter; I'd been wrestling with the problems of purely passive preamps for months, and was nowhere close to any real solutions.

      although it is a passive.

That's an oddball! Maybe someday I'll get bored and try it.

I went to Tanner's today and got the junk to build this class A SSTART preamp. Steve, do you think the 610 is biased hard enough to need heatsinking? I'll mount it to a small piece of angle aluminum just to be safe.

Any body want some Vifa XT25SC50-4 ring radiators?
I am buying a pair from a guy on diyaudio for a car install. He said he has multiple pairs, and would consider a price break on a larger order. I am getting a pair $36 shipped. (only $18 each shipped, sounds good to me) I could fed-ex to every body no charge.

Oh just curious...how long did your better half listen to you talk about going to a DIYAudio Event? Bless my wife for even asking did I have fun?

I'm good. I have a pair of decent tweeters waiting on a project.

            Thanks for the offer!

Right now I have plenty of tweets too. Sounds like a good deal though. Next time I may be ready to buy, keep me in the loop.

Hey Dave wanted me to share with you guys the info below on the Neo 10.

A new option it is useful from 650Hz to around 5000Hz. Would mate well to a small neo tweeter crossing at 4000Hz or so and a pair of 6.5" or 8" woofers down around 650 to 1000Hz. Not sure why PE does not handle this. If you used it down to 150Hz as they propose the sensitivity would be very low around 81 to 82db. It however would be very manageable from 650 to 5000Hz. so a very wide range midrange driver.

I don't have the arkansas boys email addresses but if you think they may be interested in this driver please forward it to them. Pricey but would make a great mid for a 3 way. with excellent sensitivity.

Dave Thomas said he can get the XT25 Neo for $13. Hip, you may want to send him an e-mail. If there's a minimum let me know I will order 2 with you. maybe we can get a few of the others to put two tweeters on the shelf.

The XT25 is the neo version not the larger version. They are $13 each. Jeff Miller is the one doing the buying.
