OK, this was fun and all guys, but does anyone actually visit this anymore? It lived less than a month? I'm not building anything really, but someone has to be.

That box is sealed 1.5 cft.with a old first generation dolby digital (AC3)decoder. IIRC its crossed at 100hz. I will soon build 2 into my wifes ford expidition (all custom fiberglass work) 2cft with 600Watts. I grabbed 4 when Jack Hidley had them on sale. I think that was about the best bang for the buck sub deal ever.

I've been looking at those peerless drivers for a while and going back and forth. Price is down from what it once was too. Let me know how it works out. Hip--Ive got several of the nht subs too. I built my 17 yr old a sealed sub for his room. Are you using it sealed or vented? Crossing it active or passive?

I am searching high and low for some 6-to-10inch drivers on the cheap to do 3way with. Less than $4 per unit, I might splurge on some of the Jamo 10's that are around $7 Ea

The bass driver is a NHT 10" foster sub (I bought 4 of them), and for the money invested this is a great system.

I remember all those tweets being sold in a box. I wondered if someone was going to put them to use in a line array. I remember seeing the Meniscus 3"ers too. Wow, you made good use of alot of really good sales. What is you bass driver?

Hope you get the other one done so you can listen to them in stereo. I am glueing up cabinets in the woodshop and trying to configure a small cabinet out of any scraps I have left over. Fairly relaxing.

I have found a little time to work on my super cheap array project. Will find time to make 1 more panel tonight, or tomorrow.will be nice to listen in stereo. It has been a little cooler here in Jonesboro. This is the coolest/cheapest project I am working on right now.

We have all the kids moving in for school so nothing has been done in the woodshop for over a week. Maybe tomorrow could glue up a few things. One of the science teachers got my Vifa PL18 and Seas D27TDFC 2-way. He caught the bug and now wants to make a new center channel since his old one doesn't match up with his new fronts. He is actually willing to spend a little money so he bought two of the Peerless 5.25" HDS drivers on sale at PE and we are going to get a Seas 27YDFC for the tweet. Think it will sound very nice.

And my quest for the Impossible Dream seems to have found a happy ending, I got two "new" Seas CA17RCYs. I say "new" because they have never been used but must be at least 12 years old.

I tell you Tom (a.k.a. Lefty) you should come down for a day of work in the shop and we will both get more work then if we were working by ourselves. It has A/C and the equipment is pretty good. Just to have a second hand for glueing up would be helpful.

The 6.5" needs a big box, over 1 cu ft. I have a pair and I am going to put them in towers. While the 5.25" isn't a small cabinet it s around .5 cu ft so that makes it more convenient.

Hip, you will not have to put gas in that car to make it move. I am more than willing to head up to L.R. when you guys want to get together. Flying Saucer has good food and plenty of selection for drink. Plus there isn't a bad looking waitress at that place.

Well that would save Dave since I will ask him for a crossover when he has an opportunity and I start building the cabinets. I am going to do a double bass reflex cabinet. That little woofer goes low and I think the cabinet will help the woofer reach its potential while protecting it. I am more than willing to share plans and you are always welcome to come down to H.S. and we will build them together. Plus when that woofer will be $18.50 is probably never.

I was also pondering using the tang band (w-5 704D.) They're on backorder right now but I guess still on sale.

Funny how this all came about. Ed from diyaudio is who I was going to buy from. Well the group buy helped some on the price. Maybe we can meet in LR soon and hand out the tweets. I plan on getting a new plate machined that will mount the XT25 right up against a RS52 for my car install. XT25, RS52, Dayton RS225, all active. - I will soon get 2 AE-IB15 if anybody wanted to go in on 4 for the price break.....?
